Prosthetic rehabilitation

Many patients, particularly the elderly, suffer from unilateral temoromandibular joint problems because they are missing molars in the upper or lower jaw of the same side. The temporomandibular joint is then overloaded on this side. Removable partial dentures or dental implants should be used to provide efficient support.
